I’ve been training at Bustamove for over ten years, and it’s been an incredible experience. Jen, Scarlett, and the entire team are enthusiastic, supportive, and always bring great energy. We’ve been training at Bustamove for over 10 years and love the flexibility of our two 30-minute sessions each week. Our trainer tailors every workout to suit our needs—especially helpful with the odd sore knee or back! As golfers in our 70s, we’re stronger, more flexible, and definitely feeling fitter than many of our peers!

I have been training regularly at Bustamove since Jenni opened the studio 20 years ago. Together with Scarlett and the rest of the team, she has created a welcoming and fun place to exercise and work out. I especially enjoy the outdoor sessions by the beach, and the studio’s location in Black Rock means that there are lots of places for the all-important post workout coffee.

Joining Bustamove has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and wellbeing. From day one, the atmosphere has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fun making it easy to stay motivated and consistent. The trainers are fantastic: attentive, supportive, and always mindful of individual limitations, which makes every workout feel safe and effective.
With the option of early mornings, not so early mornings or evenings, its been easy to schedule in suitable times.
I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my fitness level, and I genuinely enjoy the variety of exercises offered, from strength training with weights to energizing cardio sessions. The flexibility to choose between personal training and group classes keeps things fresh and exciting. If you want a trainer who feels like your personal drill sergeant—with a side of high-fives—Scarlett’s your go-to. She pushes us (and occasionally yells “Is that all you’ve got?”), keeps workouts fresh and fun, and somehow makes 7 am feel like a party. Ten years in, we still show up—because Scarlett makes getting fit the best part of our week!
If you’re local and juggling kids and chaos, Bustamove is pure gold. Twice weekly at 7 am for ten years, keeping us accountable—back when our pram and three little critics cheered from the mat—and still had us sweating with laughter. She challenges us, calls us out when we’re slacking, and somehow makes early workouts feel like a celebration.
